Prepare for eerie chills and spooky sensations as York Dungeons announced a Halloween walking tour of the city.

The Treats and Treats for Families walking tour event will feature some of York’s most iconic landmarks, delving into the spooky history of one of the UK’s most historic towns.

Halloween fans and thrill-seeking families can embrace the spooky and spooky city of York like never before, as Jester and Smedley take the beloved York Dungeon family attraction above the ground for a ride. pesky peasants on a “wonderfully wicked” adventure.

The ghostly tour will cover 2,000 years of York history while detailing famous people from York’s past.

York Dungeons General Manager Mark Mattinson said: “We look forward to taking our guests on a macabre guide to York, one of the UK’s most haunted towns.

“Guests will experience all the scares that dungeons are (un) famous for, while visiting famous sites and learning about York’s history.

“This city has surprises lurking around every corner and we are thrilled to bring the dungeon shadows to the streets during the spooky season.”

Tour dates and how to get tickets:

Tours will depart from outside the York Dungeon, see times below:

  • saturday 2 sd , 9 e, and 16 e October – 4 visits (12 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 3 p.m. & 4:30 p.m.)
  • saturday 23 rd to Sunday 31 st October – 8 visits (11:15 a.m., 12 p.m., 12:45 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:15 p.m., 3 p.m., 3:45 p.m. & 4:30 p.m.)

The Trick AND Treat walking tour is recommended for all ages, ticket prices are £ 9.75 for adults and £ 7.75 for children (under 3s are free).
