Renaissance Feast returns to the Magic City

MINOT, ND – After taking a year-long hiatus due to the pandemic, the Minot Chamber Choir is bringing their long-standing Renaissance feast to the Magic City this weekend!

The chorale has been performing for almost 50 years now.

Performers dress in Renaissance-era costumes and share era-themed music with the audience, as well as a few laughs.

Some members of the group have been participating in the party for decades.

Longtime choir members said it was special to be able to bring the performance back to a live audience.

“Being able to sing together and do it for other people who love music and who love watching artists have fun, sharing wonderful music with them is an amazing experience that you cannot duplicate,” said Longtime backing vocalist and director Cheryl Nilsen.

They are also taking the performance to a new place this year.

They throw the party Friday and Saturday night at 7 p.m. at the Regency Event Center in downtown Minot. Doors open at 6 a.m.

It also includes a meal option.

Tickets are no longer available for the Friday night show, but you can still purchase tickets for the Saturday night show through Saturday noon.
