Palisades Theater postpones PRISONER OF SECOND AVENUE

Theater Palisades has announced the postponement of Neil Simon’s The Prisoner Of Second Avenue.

“In light of the unprecedented rise of the Covid virus in our community, we have had no choice but to postpone the entire airing of Neil Simon’s Prisoner of Second Avenue. We have made this change due to our great concern for our audience, actors and crew. .

We are pushing back the opening date to March 25, about six weeks. We hope that by then the prevalence of the virus will decrease so that we can put on our big show in the safest environment.

The show was originally scheduled to open on Friday, January 21, with performances every Friday and Saturday at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday morning at 2:00 p.m. with closing on Sunday, February 20.

The new dates for Neil Simon’s The Prisoner of Second Avenue are March 25, 2022 through May 1, 2022, with shows every Friday and Saturday night at 8:00 p.m. and a matinee every Sunday at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are available on our website

The health and safety of patrons, our staff and performers inside and outside our venue is a top priority for Theater Palisades, which requires all patrons to provide, upon entry, proof of full vaccination, including proof of booster or negative PCR test result within 48 hours or verifiable antigen test within 24 hours of your performance date, along with a government-issued photo ID the government. Face masks, covering both mouth and nose, are still required at all times in the room. Theater Palisades health and safety protocols are also subject to change at the sole discretion of the venue or in accordance with LA County and the City of Los Angeles.
