Crusader announced for Dungeon Fighter Duel with new gameplay trailer

Something about the power of God and the anime being on his side …

The tenth character trailer for Dungeon Fighters Duel was revealed as the Avenger receives its official introduction. This continues a series of reveals as we prepare for the beta of DNF on Friday.

The Crusader comes from the male priest class and appears to be quite straightforward and punchy. He is presented as “an agent of God” and delivers an extremely powerful punch with his enormous sacred hammer.

Although relatively tall and slow, Crusader appears to fight like a tank as we see him activate what looks like a shield before performing a few powerful hits followed by the straighter of shoulder tackles.

Next, we see the character summon a large cross to sit on the battlefield and act as a kind of wall he can bounce his opponent off for even more painful combos.

If opponents get too comfortable with simply blocking Crusader’s muscular melee attacks, he can grab them with what looks like a command grab. He hoists his foe by the throat as a golden cross manifests behind them, and then he proceeds to forcibly crush them through said cross as it shatters.

You can check out the all-new trailer below, and we’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments after watching it. The DNF Duel beta is scheduled to start on Friday, December 17 at 6:00 p.m. PST.
